Its welcome news for all of Ireland, but I’m not sure it will fix the Irish VC problem, regardless of who the LPs are.
Personally I would like to see “SoftTechVC, FirstRound, etc” type funds - they have set a benchmark in terms of activity. Jeff Clavier has invested in 81 companies from a fund that is less than $20m in size, with an impressive exit rate.
